Ocean Basins Module Update

Follow these steps:

  1. Download the update file (click this link to start download). You should see a folder named "Phsiog.zip" on your desktop (or the location you have chosen to send your downloads).
  2. Quit "LearningWithData," if it is running.
  3. Unzip the downloaded update file named "Physiog.zip". If you double click on the folder, it should automatically unzip. Inside that folder is another folder called "Physiog".
  4. Locate the "LearningWithData-Temp" folder that was created when you installed the CD. If you installed the CD using the suggested locations for your files, on a PC this folder will be in your "Shared Documents" folder on your hard drive. On a Mac (OSX) this will be in the "Shared" User folder.
  5. Copy the unzipped folder named "Physiog" into the "Downloads" folder that is inside the "LearningWithData-Temp" folder.
  6. That's all there is to it. The "LearningWithData" software will now access the updated module instead of the original one on the CD.
