| The behavior of the Learning With Data modules is specified in several configuration files. These are classConfig, menuConfig, and siteConstants. The configEditor (accessible under the File dropdown menu) allows you to set the desktop menu contents, class web page, teacher password, and other parameters of importance.
The default teacher name and password can be found at the Learning With Data Wiki: LWDWiki. Registration is required. The teacher name and password can be reset using the configuration editor, which is accessible from the File menu (if you have logged in as the teacher).
The contents of these configuration files may change, but the configuration editor has documentation that will direct you. Use the help menu at the upper right of each window.
Load the configEditor application from the File menu. Use the help files to see what you need to know, in order to edit the applicaton configuration.
